Dr. Swanson has been practicing in Los Gatos for over 28 years. He and his wife, Sally, live in Almaden Valley. They have two grown children who have degrees in mathematics/economics and biomedical engineering.  Dr. Swanson is active in the Santa Clara County Dental Society, served on the Board of Directors, and was chairman of the Peer Review Committee. He enjoys community activities: he was a Boy Scout Leader for 10 years and is a past President of the Cambrian Park Kiwanis Club and the Santa Clara Valley Orchid Society. 
Dr. Swanson believes continuing education is very important.  He is a member of the West Valley Study Club and he and his staff attend many lectures and continuing education courses throughout the year.
A kid at heart, he enjoys scuba diving, playing hockey and snowboarding with his kids.
He loves to share stories about a new restaurant he’s tried or the latest play he’s seen.
